Ile du Levant to the east of the islands, is partly occupied by a famous naturist colony. The nudists have their own village, Heliopolis, a short walk up from the landing-stage where the boats call.Ordinary tourists can visit the nudists - but they do not like you to photograph them.

The rest of this long island belongs to the French Navy, who use it for an experimental rocket-base. The coast consists mainly of inaccessible cliffs.
