There are paths leading south towards Zlatnirt a densely forested cape, crisscrossed by tracks and fringed by rocky beaches. Other spots for bathing can be found on the two islands just offshore from Rovinj – Sveta Katarina, the nearer of the two, and Crveni otok the (Red Island) is known as the flower Island, because of its lavish vegetation with hidden corners, this green paradise provides everything a modern tourist may wish for, both are linked by boats from the harbour (every 30min).
